Carrie Carter's small cafe in Seaside, New Jersey, is populated with a motley crew of locals... although Carrie only has eyes for Greg Barnes. He's recovering from a vicious crime that three years ago took the lives of his wife and children - and from the year he tried to drink his
reality away. while her heart does a happy Snoopy dance at the sight of him, he never seems to notice her.

When Carrie's dishwasher is killed and her young waitress disappears, Greg finds himself drawn into helping Carrie solve the mysteries... and into her life. But when Carrie's own painful past becomes all too present, her carefully constructed world begins to sink.

Will the fragile relationship she's bulding with Greg implode from the weight of the baggage they both carry?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Carrie owns a small cafe in Seaside, New Jersey with the a cast of loveable characters that the reader can easily relate too. Carrie has a love interest in the form of Greg Barnes. A man dealing with the tragedy of losing his wife and children. Carrie feels that he doesn't know she's
alive.
One morning Carrie's dishwasher is found murdered after being gone for a few days... Next the young, sixteen year old waitress disappears. Is it a coincidence or are they connected. Greg helps Carrie to solve the mystery and finds that he can no longer fight the secret attraction
that he has been hiding. He also learns that Carrie has a secret that she has to come to terms with.
This book was easy to get into and the story was a good one and help my interest right up to the end. The way the author writes, leaves you feeling like you too are a part of this story.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
