The Veiled Rose is the story about a young boy named Leo who sets off to hunt a monster and instead discovers Rose Red. Despite the fact that she is mysteriously veiled, they explore the mountain and develop a friendship he has never had before.
This book is the follow up to Ms. Stengl's book ' Heartless which I have never read. I found this book well written and the characters likable but
it wasn't a book that I would of chose on my own. I sometimes found myself easily distracted while reading this story. If you enjoy fantasy, dragons and such, you will like this book.
