A New Giveaway and A Spring Time Swap...

Lately I have been fascinated with quilting and have been checking out some great blogs for inspiration.

Today I found a blog called 'Snippets of a Quilter' by a talented quilter named Wendy. If you enjoy quilting or just looking at some beautiful pieces of art, I encourage to give Wendy a visit.

It just so happens that she is having a giveaway to celebrate her birthday and her blog makeover. She will be drawing 3 numbers on Valentines Day so hurry over and check it out.

Yesterday we were hit with another little snow storm that did not give us a whole lot of snow but enough to pack the roads and make them slick. They did not cancel school so my 20 minute ride took me at least 40 minutes and that was only after an hour of the snow falling. Thankfully the superintendent of schools decided to close today as all the secondary roads are horrible. The temperature was -3 degrees this morning and our high is only suppose to reach 25 today.

So what to do this morning.... My plans are to finish some blocks up for the 'Siggy Block' Swap.... which we have 16 wonderful ladies participating in. There is still time to join if you would like.

I also need to get my house clean as I have a niece getting married in April and she is coming over this weekend so we can buy flowers and supplies to do her bouquets. I am so happy she has asked me for help.

I hope your all are staying nice and warm... It looks like the weekend is going to be a lot warmer so that is good. Maybe Spring is finally on its way! A girl can hope, right?

*prim hugs and blessings*
