Winter Wonderland and a Giveaway Win!

I must have done a really good 'snow dance' because today we were blessed with another day off from school. The roads look clear but there is some serious black ice and the temperatures are the coldest I can remember for a while. It was -5 degrees.

The sun is out and the trees look beautiful but I think its going to be a perfect day just to stay indoors and be creative!

The forecast for the weekend says we will have another system going through on Sunday so maybe this four day weekend will turn into a five day weekend.

Have you all noticed the wonderful giveaways that have been going on all around us??? Well imagine my surprise to find out I was one of the lucky winner's of the fantastic giveaway that was held over at Linda's Parkers Paradise!

It has been so long since I won anything. Thank you so very much Linda for hosting such a great giveaway. If you don't follow Linda's blog I urge you to head on over here and check it out.

Well, I guess I should go get busy. I have plans for today which involve a little cutting and a little painting. Aren't snow days great!?!?!

Take care wherever you may be and try to stay warm!

  11. It looks like you have been very busy! It has been cold and snowy here as well. But it is winter and it is expected! I did put the cups in a muffin pan. They are made from a heavy paper but I did not want to take a chance of having them collapse in the oven.
    Stay warm!
